At ISKCON Belfast, the safety and well-being of all our community members, especially children (aged 0–18) and adults who may be at risk, is our highest priority.
We are committed to upholding ISKCON’s global safeguarding principles and ensuring that our temple remains a safe, respectful, and spiritually uplifting space for everyone.
Children’s Supervision Guidelines:
- Children aged 15 and under must always be supervised by a parent or designated adult.
- For children aged 0–15, a parent or guardian should remain within sight and hearing at all times.
- Children under 18 cannot supervise younger children.
- For youth aged 15-18, a parent or guardian must remain on-site, and both should know each other’s whereabouts.
- Please do not drop off children and leave them unattended at the temple. ISKCON Belfast cannot accept responsibility for unaccompanied minors.
Restricted Areas:
- Children are not allowed in the kitchen or on the staircase to the first floor unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Please supervise children closely when they are in the garden, car park or outdoor areas.
