Belfast Ratha Yatra 2019

Dear all
We are delighted to inform you that the Ratha Yatra festival is returning to Belfast for the first time in ten years! We are very excited about this and would like to invite everyone to participate. The festival will take place on Sunday 28th of July. Here are the details:
Date: Sunday 28th of July
Time: 12.15pm
Venue: Procession will starts from Belfast City Hall and will proceed towards Shaftesbury Community Centre, 97 Balfour Ave, Belfast BT7 2EW where the rest of the programme will take place.
The programme will consist of Dance, Drama and Kirtan performances, Talk by HH Janananda Goswami, and free vegetarian food. Entry is free. Everyone is welcome!

Nityananda Trayodasi – Lord Nityananda’s Appearance Day

Lord Nityananda appeared as Lord Chaitanya’s principal associate for spreading congregational chanting of the holy names of the Lord and to bring the mercy of Lord Krishna to all the fallen, materially conditioned souls. Nityananda Prabhu, who is identical with Lord Balarama, the first expansion of Krishna, is considered to be the original guru for all of mankind.
